The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) and Water Resource Development (WRD) are working together to restore ten lakes in Chennai and Kancheepuram. This is a 100-crore lakefront project. It includes the lakes around Sholinganallur and Perumbakkam.
This initiative could enable Chennai to deal with waterlogging, floods, and water shortages. Buying homes in the locations of Perumbakkam and Sholinganallur will be a wise choice. It is like rewarding yourself, and it leads to greater investment in the future. Sholinganallur was the IT operations hub as well as the recreational hub for ECR and OMR. This project could even improve the location.
This project will include setting up butterfly gardens, herb gardens, parks, and Miyawaki forests on lakefronts. It provides a fresh and natural space for living. Spaces such as amphitheaters, seating areas, walkways, cycle tracks, street furniture, and public amenities. Therefore, think wisely and live well.
