Widely known as KG, Mr. Kishorkumar Gokaldas is the Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of the KG Group of companies. A visionary, a leader and a gentleman, he has embodied all three roles while guiding KG through its 40-year evolution into one of the biggest and most successful real-estate companies in Chennai.
Mr. Kishorkumar graduated as a gold medalist in the year 1973 from Madras University, following which he became involved with his family business of banking and finance. In 1975, he expanded his horizons with ventures into garment exports and by 1980, completed the promotion and development of a 10,000 sq. ft. single-unit bungalow, laying the foundation for what has grown into a multi-vertical, integrated real estate conglomerate.
Mr. Kishorkumar established and standardized techniques to improve building specifications, construction quality and ROI for our investors. He has turned KG into a highly respected firm in Chennai through his dynamic outlook, constant personal attention to detail, technological innovations and utmost focus on customer satisfaction & service.
Haresh Kishor currently heads the organization as the Executive Director and CEO. He has been instrumental in successfully scaling up the business, professionalizing management practices and introducing innovative systems to improve quality and efficiency.
A graduate in Finance & Accounting from New York University’s, Stern School of Business, Haresh has a background in investment banking and finance. Having worked in New York and London with Bank of America – Merrill Lynch in their real estate investment banking group, he played a pivotal role in raising a multi-billion Euro fund for a cross-Atlantic real estate investment company.
Haresh brings a futuristic vision to the company, which has elevated the degree of innovation and quality of offerings, establishing KG as not only a highly reputed builder, but also a company with a modern outlook, tuned to the needs of every customer.
Gayithri spearheads the Sales and Marketing divisions. She was single-handedly in charge of automating construction processes and introducing ERP systems. Gayithri, an Economics graduate from the University of Michigan, has a background in mortgage banking and finance, having worked with private mortgage bankers in the USA.
Most notably, she closed a commercial securitization debt financing deal worth $200 million for 300 Park Avenue in New York. Gayithri’s eye for detail and thorough understanding of consumer expectations has helped the company to cross many operational milestones.
